The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) offers several types of certifications depending on your area of expertise and experience.

Certified Property Manager^® (CPM^®)

Accredited Residential Manager^® (ARM^®)
Regarded as the most recognized credential for residential real estate managers, the ARM certification is your ticket to new opportunities. Accredited Commercial Manager (ACoM)
The ACoM certification is the stepping stone tward the Certified Property Manager (CPM^®) designation. If you are a commercial site manager and your portfolio has not yet reached the minimum size for the CPMdesignation, you can gain training, skills, and industry knowledge with the ACoM certification while working towards the CPM. Accredited Management Organization^®(AMO^®)
The AMO accreditation recognizes excellence among real estate management firms. Only those firms that achieve the highest level of performance, experience and financial stability and have a CPM in an executive position can earn the AMO credential.
